38,630 Posts! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anyone even notice how this Facts Of Life message board has the more posts then anyother board! 38,630...Its insane! I was just curious to see how it compared to other boards, and the next runner up is the show "Chico and the man" (which I have never heard of!) and that only has about 12,427 posts which is nothing compared to us! lets keep it up guys! Only if some programming executive of Nick at Nite, TNN, or TV Land could see how many FOL fans there were, maybe they could actually do something about it!

Yeah, ever since about October of 2000 this board has been goin' crazy. Unfortunately is has slowed down a bit, but it's still one of the busiest boards around

FOL is the best so yeah of course its board has the most posts. haha.

Chico and the Man was a sitcom on NBC in the mid-70s which starred Freddie Prinze (y'know, Freddie Prinze Jr's DAD??

), veteran actor Jack Albertson (played the grampa on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), and was about a young Puerto Rican dude moving in with a crusty old man with a garage in L.A. Jose Feliciano sang the theme song, and also featured Scatman Crothers and Della Reese. Unfortunately, Prinze Sr., a promising comedian was so devastated by the breakup with his girlfriend(wife?) that he died from a drug overdose in 1977. They came up with a "kid" Chico to replace him, but the show was cancelled soon after that.

Oh yeah!!! That's right!! I almost forgot. Seems so long ago when I read about that happening back in 1977.
