"Farscape" Creator Confirms Movie Is in the Works

"Farscape" creator Rockne O'Bannon has confirmed a movie adaptation of the popular science fiction series is in the works.

Appearing at WonderCon Sunday, O'Bannon told NerdacyTV, "We're far from production, but yeah, the first step is Justin Monjo working on a script for us. We'll keep our fingers crossed."

TV.com was the first to report the news.

"Farscape", in which a diverse group of characters traveled through space to outrun the militaristic Peacekeepers, aired on Syfy from 1999 to 2004.
