Default New Divergent sequel

We know Divergent has two trilogy sequels:

Insurgent
Allegient

But it turns out that Allegieny is splitted in two films:

Insurgent
Allegient (Part One)
Allegient (Part Two)

But that means, The Host will have to complete its sequel trilogy:

The Seeker
The Soul

Then, maybe split The Soul into two films:

The Seeker
The Soul (Part One)
The Soul (Part Two)

Finally, The Chronicles of Narnia has the remaining sequels to go:

The Silver Chair
The Magician's Nephew
The Horse And His Boy
The Last Battle

There might be also a chance that The Last Battle will be split into two films:

The Silver Chair
The Magician's Nephew
The Horse And His Boy
The Last Battle (Part One)
The Last Battle (Part Two)

The Hobbit conclusion, "There And Back Again", new Star Wars movies, new Pirates Of The Caribbean movies and the remaining Mortal Instruments will not do something about the last splitted films on their concluded sequels.

What is w/ you and this topic over-and-over? Please don't make any more of them because it is getting redundant.

If a movie under-performs at the box office then future sequels are very unlikely to happen. It doesn't make sense, from a business perspective, to make sequels to underperforming franchises.

There are many scrapped franchises.

Not yet scrapped, JamesG, but I am trying to be clear for the final time!

"The Chronicles of Narnia" is still continuing. "The Silver Chair" is scheduled to be the next movie. I'll be ecstatic to finally see all of C.S. Lewis' classic Narnia books made into movies.

I hope that will happen soon.
And I don't know that "The Last Battle" really needs to be made into two parts. (Of course, I don't think "The Hobbit" really needed three parts either for that matter; but then- Peter Jackson isn't just telling "The Hobbit" story by J.R.R. Tolkien. To clarify- he is telling that story, but he's also including a lot of material from the appendices to "The Lord of the Rings" as well. (Stuff that didn't get included in "The Lord of the Rings" movies.) So that's cool- I'm definitely happy for more Tolkien stuff too.

The Chronicles Of Narnia films sequel is like the Harry Potter films sequel, so I am probable that The Last Battle will be also split into two-part films, IMO.

The Hobbit's final film trilogy sequel, "There And Back Again", will never split into two or more part films at all.

Finally, I can tell that these are scrapped films that will forever be discontinued for the rest of their times:

I Am Number Four
Beautiful Creatures
After Earth
Ender's Game

There are sequels for Divergent, which has the follow-up:

Insurgient
Allegiant--Part One
Allegiant--Part Two

Even if The Host got some panning from the critics, but that does not mean it will get discontinued. The reason why is because The Host is written by a famous author, who wrote the Twilight series, it got some panning due to the fact it was hurriedly made to earn money before recession increasingly strikes too fast.

The Host has the follow-up:

The Seeker
The Soul

But it turns out that The Soul will not be split into two films, after all.
