Default Will CBS ever release the remaining B&W seasons to DVD?

I am really hoping that CBS/Paramount will release seasons 3, 4 and 5 to dvd and soon!

I know there are some music licensing issues with these seasons but come on, just work out some kind of deal to release the seasons already!!!!

My wish list to have ALL the B&W episodes on DVD. Those were the best years of M3S!!!!!
CBS did an outstanding job on the remastering. I won't mind the music replacements they did it on the previous releases before anyways.

Agreed. The music replacements in the first two season dvd releases weren't any big deal to me. I thought they did a good job on the releases.

I'm with you there! Music replacements are no biggie it's all about getting those episodes on crystal-clear DVD.

I think it depends on how familiar you are with a show and how big of a fan you are. Someone who isn't all that familiar with My Three Sons would probably not notice the music was changed on the DVD's. It's the hard core fans who notice the music changes. I don't have My Three Sons on DVD, but I disapprove of the changes to the music, I think it is ridiculous. These music issues with movies and TV shows on DVD has got to stop. It is just a bunch of legal nonsense.

One of the best things about the early My 3 Sons shows (b/w years) was that harmonica sound background music, esp. during the tender moments of the program. That sound is greatly missed and the new replacement is just downright annoying to me. I guess I am one who is familiar with the sound of My 3 Sons and the music was a major part of it. I bought the first 3 issues of the My 3 Sons dvd's but I just couldn't stand the inferior non-My 3 Sons background anymore. Not only did I not buy the 4th release (season 2, part 2) but I went back to my own home made recordings. Even though those recorded versions of the show are edited by about 2 or 3 min. the music is intact on the TV broadcasts and it really makes the show for me. I do love the beautiful sharp picture though on the commercial releases and I love the fact you get that 2 or 3 min. back, but that lousy replacement music just ruins the whole experience for me. It's back to the TV Land & Fam Channel TV broadcasts.
