"S.H.I.E.L.D.": Cobie Smulders Set to Return

Cobie Smulders will reprise her role as Maria Hill on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." later this month, TVGuide.com has confirmed. But when Maria returns, she won't exactly be seeing eye-to-eye with her old buddy Coulson (Clark Gregg).

Now that S.H.I.E.L.D. has been disbanded, Maria has begun working for Tony Stark and is open to finding a new way to help the world. Coulson, on the other hand, has a bit more trouble letting go of the organization, even though it hasn't always been truthful with him.

"I think it's a great opportunity for her and Coulson to be in some conflict because he's the guy who doesn't want to let go, and she's the one that's clearly moved on," executive producer Jeffrey Bell tells Marvel.

Smulders will appear in the April 29 episode.

The last episode was a big improvement. Lets' hope it continues to improve.
