"Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is bringing back a familiar (if differently accessorized?) face for its season finale airing May 13.

In the wake of the very significant events that took place in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Nick Fury will eventually resurface in Agent Coulson’s world, Samuel L. Jackson revealed to New York Magazine‘s Vulture column.

“I just shot the end-of-the-season show,” Jackson shared at the premiere of his wife LaTanya’s Broadway play A Raisin in the Sun. The actor, however, stopped well short of sharing any plot details, for fear of being “fired and killed” by Marvel, he joked.
