Talking "Bulls N Bears" based on the comic strip!

The workers in "Executive Suite" have made a career shift from making tools to maki ng trades. "Executive Suite," by William Wells and Jack Lindstrom, has been renamed Bulls N Bears,as familiar characters Jonathan Stone and company open a new brokerage firm and navigate the unpredictable business of stock trading and investments. Oblivious managing director Jonathan Stone, smart and witty executive assistant Helen Hopkins and the rest of the cast of "Executive Suite" continue to work together in the new Bulls N Bears Brokerage. With the same office humor that gave readers a parody of their own workdays in "Executive Suite," Bulls N Bears takes on WallStreet from a Main Street perspective. Bulls N Bears is a stock brokerage firm in a town where,as in most places, investing has become an obsession. The firm may be weak on research, trade execution and compliance with all those picky SEC rules, but it's got great cookies and pretty good coffee. Co-creators Wells and Lindstrom were inspired to refocus their strip by the surge of people's interest in the stock market over the last few years. "I was in a restaurant and overheard a conversation at the next table not about the home run race of the moment but about biotech stocks and dot.com IPOs," Wells says. "And it hit me - Wall Street, the stock market and investi ng are the new national pastime in the U.S. Just go into any health club and you'll find the TV monitors are tuned to CNBC." The cartoonists decided to make the public's fascination with WallStreet a central theme in their comic strip. To make the transition within the panels of "Executive Suite," the staff of U.S. Tech and Tool re-formed their company as a Main Street storefront stock brokerage firm called Bulls N Bears Brokerage. Bulls N Bears is about this firm and the small town and wide world beyond it where everyone is obsessed with the stock market and investing. It's a place where the market price of lobster is tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average, a couple wonders if it's okay that their child's first word is "NASDAQ" and a doctor advises a pat ient with high cholesterol not to add any more long bonds to his portfolio.

Meet the characters:

Jonathan Stone

Jonathan Stone is managing director of Bulls N Bears Brokerage, a title he only vaguely understands. His lack of investment knowledge is exceeded only by his inability to inspire his staff.
Helen Hopkins

Helen Hopkins, Jonathan Stone's Executive assistant, is the brains of Bulls N Bears Brokerage .She's is happy to let her boss take credit because she is in charge of payroll and thus earns considerably more than he does.
Carlton

Carlton is "director of duplication", meaning he runs the copy machine .By staffing the desk of whoever's at lunch or on vacation , he has become the firm's top producer .
Ned Worth

Ned and Penny Worth are the millionaires next door. Ned loves to visit his trust company to listen to the rustle of money, and Penny is committed to helping the less fortunate, provided she doesn't actually have to meet them.
Thornton

Thornton is a child prodigy who would have a net worth in the billions-if he were old enough to make stock trades. His dog Eddie handles the back-room operations of their lemonade stand, and is trained to sniff out winning stocks in return for treats.
Scott Striver

Scott and Stacey Striver are a young couple already planning for retirement, which they hope will be soon - depending upon their luck with the stock market, Lotto and TV quiz shows. They wonder if they should be concerned that baby Junior's first word was "NASDAQ."
Penny Worth

Ned and Penny Worth are the millionaires next door. Ned loves to visit his trust company to listen to the rustle of money, and Penny is committed to helping the less fortunate, provided she doesn't actually have to meet them.
Stacey Striver

Scott and Stacey Striver are a young couple already planning for retirement, which they hope will be soon - depending upon their luck with the stock market, Lotto and TV quiz shows. They wonder if they should be concerned that baby Junior's first word was "NASDAQ."

Here's the theme song:"Wall Street and New York planets and places women and men and a billion faces broke like the 20's and havin' a stroke in your 20's cause your fat like a bat!"
