Almost Cancelled after Season 1 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Fans of PDEtD may be interested to know that it was almost cancelled after Season 1 for a show called My Fifteen Blocks, which had Dean Jones playing a Chicago policeman. My Fifteen Blocks never aired, according to this page, due to Danny Thomas' objection to the Saturday night timeslot which it was assigned. PDEtD would likely be a much-less syndicated show without having a 2nd season, so fans may be glad about Danny Thomas' decision here.
