Maura's on the TV Guide cover of March 9-15 for those of you interested. There's also a small article on the inside on page 26 at the bottom. Here's a scan...

I haven't been able to find that yet (of course I've only looked like 2 places and they didn't carry it!
)I'm afraid I might not be able to get it before it leaves stands. Could someone please summarize what the article says about her? I would really appreciate it! |

Unfortunately, I didn't get the cover with Maura on it. (There are 4 different covers this week.)
Here you go Bootsy: The article is about TV's MVPs. She's not one of the top 10 but she has a little paragraph on the page titled "STARS - Magnetic and gloriously diverse in their talents, this group makes us howl with laughter, bawl our eyes out, even challenger our own beliefs. And we're loving every minute of it" Maura Tierney, ER Age: 37 Role: Nurse Abby Wyczenski Lockharet In Nurse Hathaway's footsteps: As Abby, a woman who shoulders responsibilities with little or no reward, Tierney has risen to star status by subtly combining quiet emotion and enigmatic ambivalence. She has beautifully filled the gap left by the departure of Julianna Margulies. Tip-top condtion: "She's far and away the best actress I've ever worked with," says Noah Wyle, who plays Dr. John Carter. "You never find her 'acting.'" |

Thanks for posting that Lynn. Actually I went grocery shopping tonight and I looked for it, but the March 1-8 issue is still out, this one hasn't hit the stands yet. So I guess I still might be able to check it out, but thanks anyway for posting it, because I have finals next week and I'm not sure if I'll get the chance to go get it or not anyway.
