Crazy Controversy between ep. Mine Hero and ep. Not Guilty - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Only separated by one other episode, in season two, Mine Hero and Not Guilty are funny to compare.

ep 2.14) Mine Hero: Gilligan pulls in a live explosive mine with his fishing pole. The Skipper and Professor are debating on who should tow the mine out to see. The Skipper says that he doesn't want his little buddy to do it and Mr. Howell is married. He doesn't want to Professor to do it because he is much needed with his smarts. The Professor says that SKIPPER IS NEEDED FOR HIS LEADERSHIP. Skipper gets the deck of cards to cut the deck to see who will go.

ep. 2.16) Not Guilty: Gilligan pulls in a crate of food with his fishing poll and discovers it is only coconuts. The interesting thing is that they are wrapped in newspapers. One headline is about a murder that took place just before the S.S. Minnow left for the 3 hr tour and the cast of the Minnow were suspects. Two by two, the cast finds out and starts questioning the character of the others on the island. Once the Professor finds out, he tells Mary Ann and Ginger, "We must not be suspicious. Agreed?"
They do and then the Skipper comes out of hiding from the food locker to agree as well.

There you have it, our fearless leader hiding in the food locker. HA!

LOVE THIS SHOW AND LOVE THE ENTIRE CAST!

Production order wise the episodes are separated by 7 shows.

I guess the leadership controversy wouldn't have been so noticeable if they left the episodes in their produced order.
