"Teen Wolf's" Latest Victim Speaks Out: Why I Asked To Leave the Show
by Andy Swift 3/18/14 It’s been 15 hours since "Teen Wolf" claimed its latest victim, and the Twitterverse is still trying to make sense of the seemingly senseless tragedy. Fortunately, that victim has now opened up and revealed the answer to everyone’s biggest question: Why? By now, all "Teen Wolf" fans know — or should know — that Crystal Reed‘s Allison Argent was last night’s much-hyped victim. And in a fairly surprising interview with EW.com, Reed says the decision to exit the show was completely her own. “I felt like, creatively, there were things I wanted to do differently, and I wanted to explore other avenues of film and TV,” Reed tells the site. “I wanted to jump into different characters. You know, I’m 29. So I think the age difference was something I wanted to change as well because she’s 17. I love the show so much. So I went to [executive producer] Jeff Davis and talked about it and he said, ‘We’ll write you a great ending.’” And here’s another shocker: Allison’s dying speech to Scott, in which she admitted to still loving him, was also Reed’s idea. “I kept saying, ‘I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you,’” Reed recalls of filming her final scene. “And I remember one of the producers came over and said, ‘Please don’t say that because she loves Isaac.’ [But] I do feel like Allison still loves Scott. And I think in that moment, she said she loves him because that’s still there.” You’ve got to hand it to Reed, she knows how to make an exit. http://tvline.com/2014/03/18/teen-wo...ned-interview/ |
