Default Short lived shows that were in syndication where you live

I recently acquired a set of "The Ropers" in a trade and noticed that some of the episodes were from a FOX affiliate, and I was intrigued that this short-lived show was apparently aired in syndication, although perhaps they aired it as an accompanying piece to Three's Company.

Were there any short-lived shows that had a second life in syndicated reruns where you live? I think this would be an interesting topic.

I do know that The Ropers episodes were in the syndication package of Three's Company. The same was true about Checkin'-In being part of The Jeffersons package.

My local stations have not shown any short-lived syndicated series that I can think of. However, I have seen some on WGN (David Cassidy-Man Undercover, Eichied, Fibber Magee and Molly are three that I remember.)

I think that TVLand showed The Smothers Brothers Show.

The Ropers was in syndication where I lived in Tampa, FL. Three's A Crowd as well. 5:30 am, it was "The Ropers" and at 2pm, it was "Three's A Crowd". Then four weeks later, the shows would swap time slots with the other airing in the morning and the other in the afternoon. (WTOG 44) Spring of 1993. The Ropers also aired them in the spring of 1990 on Sundays after Three' Company.

Square Pegs aired weeknights at 6pm on WFTS 28 in the mid 80
s
Private Benjamin aired weeknights at 7pm on WTOG 44 in the mid 80's.

In Los Angeles at least the area I was neither The Ropers or Three's A Crowd were ever part of Three's Company syndication run, except for maybe the two The Ropers episodes that were used to ease the transition.

Although I did once manage to spot in my TV Guide that Three's A Crowd was airing once a week on Saturday mornings.

Remember seeing "The Ropers" in my market (Yakima WA) as part of the "Three'
s Company" package, but don't remember how they aired them. "Three's A Crowd" was not in the package at all.
Also remember this market showing "House Calls" at 7:30 pm daily for a while, and airing "Branded" and "Guns of Will Sonnet" back to back on Saturdays.

This actually crossed my mind recently, so adding to the thread...

-I've seen trade ads from c. 1983, offering House Calls reruns to stations for weekends.

-It's A Living, I'm a Big Girl Now and It Takes Two aired in syndication in the mid-80s. WTVZ in Norfolk, Va. showed It's a Living weeknights at 7 (go to about the 6:50 mark).

-Back in the summer of 1997, I remember WPEN, a low-powered station in my area, showing The Ropers on weekday mornings. I can't remember whether it was part of the Three's Company package or aired on its own. I want to say it aired back to back with either TC or Three's a Crowd. I do remember some episodes using the Ropers theme, while others used an instrumental of the TC theme.

-When I visited Dallas in the early-90s, I remember a station airing Three's a Crowd on Sunday nights. I also recall seeing Bosom Buddies on Saturday or Sunday afternoons.

-It wasn't syndicated, but around 2006, The CW aired reruns of 8 Simple Rules. I remember being surprised at the time, being the show only had three seasons and about 76 episodes. I was also surprised that The CW aired the reruns instead of ABC.

-Seems like Carter Country made its way to syndication as well. The description says this clip is from 1981, but the VO during the credits mentions Square Pegs reruns, so I think that would place this around 1983 or '84.

-Finally, did any stations ever air The New WKRP in addition to the original WKRP package?

I remember seeing all of these shows in syndication in NYC:

Nanny and the Professor- ran in the 70s on WPIX11
Ghost and Mrs Muir - WNEW5 late 70s-early 80s
Gidget - WOR 9 in the 90s
Please Don't Eat the Daisies WPIX in the 70s
SWAT- WOR9 around 1983
Bosom Buddies- WOR9 on the weekends around 1990
Fish- WPIX11- late 70s
Carter Country- forget which channel- around 1979-80
Bill Cosby Show- WPIX11 in the 70s
Man About the House- WNEW5 around 1983

Some of these were strange shows to sell to syndication. SWAT and Fish only had 1 1/2 seasons. I don't even think Fish ran in reruns on Ch 11 as long as it had ran on ABC.
