Default What do you think about TV Land or Nick at Nite?

I quit watching TV land once they got ride of I love Lucy Sanford and son
and home improvement I don't like every one loves Raymond and Roseanne I also don't like their original programing . I hadn't watch TV land or nick at nite at least 2 or 3 years now. i recently starting back watching nick at nite recently since they add hanging with Mr. cooper since I don't like the reruns of I love Lucy since I own the complete sereis on dvd I also watch the hub Antenna TV or me TV if I want to watch classic shows. I also decide to quit watching hall mark channel cause every time they add a new show they only let it stay a week or month then they take it off im getting tired of getting into a show then hall mark pulls it off the air they did that with home improvement it wasn't even on for couple weeks or month. I don't watch nick at night since they added friends and new & old adventures of christen if I want to watch classic show I watch Antenna TV the hub or me TV.

In all honesty, I have not been watching either one. I'm not as intrigued anymore.

I think it has to do also their phasing out of older sitcoms since they're already on networks like MeTV and AntennaTV and showing crud from the 2000's, plus they're also getting into original programming like that Betty White crap show.

Oh No

Since I don't have cable, I'm still glad that I don't...

TV Land and Nick at Nite just want money...NOT quality!

Haven't watched those stations in awhile since it has to focus on people who misunderstand quality!

Its just a sad, watered down situation. I am glad that Antenna TV and ME-TV exist now.

They used to be great networks. We had Nick long before we had TV Land for some odd reason. TV Land even had great commercials for a time!

All I can say is thank heaven for Me-TV, Antenna and Retro. We have Cozi too, but the programming is a little odd - all over the map, but then our Cozi is an NBC affiliate. I never know what to expect on that channel!

I used to see TV Land occasionally while traveling and hope someday my cable system would get it. When they did it was the same show over-and-over with what seemed like almost as much commercials as how. Then they went to more and more "recent" shows and off-the-clock scheduling so you never knew how to catch episodes from the start when you were lucky enough not to catch commercials only to find out a show was ending at like 8:21 PM after all the commercials.

I agree with many posters that conventional TV has outlived its usefulness primarily because we pay to see so many commercials and networks that do not even show the programs the channel is named for. My dad used to say TV was free because we had to watch the commercials to pay for it. Now we pay for TV and still watch even more commercials.
