Do reality show staff not completely screen their potential contestants?
Before they let them on the show? There are various reality shows that have let criminals be contestants, and in one disturbing show about Aspiring Actors, one guy began choking his fellow contestant in an acting exercise. She was screaming," Oh my God, he's really hurting me!" I thought it was really good acting, until the show pointed out he really was choking her, and was not even supposed to be touching her in the first place. He was dropped for taking his acting way too seriously....
Another woman in a Modeling show was dropped for telling her Mom she would have to cut another model contestant..... Seriously, wouldn't the staff of reality shows thoroughly check the people who are planning to be on their shows for criminal deeds and violent tendencies before letting them on the show? About criminal deeds, I'm not talking about people who shoplifted from a store, did their time, and turned their life around for the better. I'm talking about letting people who were still Wanted for doing rape be on the show. How do at large Rapists get to be on the show in the first place? |

it's patently obvious that reality show producers are specifically looking for contestants that are off their rockers - because it makes for better TV.
I remember the one example where they had to basically cancel the entire show because one of the contestants murdered his girlfriend and stuck her body in a hotel dumpster and then ran off to Canada - all between the time the show was filmed and when it aired. http://www.nbcnews.com/id/32534223/n...v-stars-death/ I am hoping more people are going to get tired of all these crap reality shows soon. |
