I just caught onto this, and I'm sure many others have also. From the "Amateur Night" episode, the engraving is "chroma-keyed" onto the silver platter via TV camera sleight-of-hand. You'll have to look very, very closely to catch it.

Yes, I noticed that some years ago. There is no actual engraving.

That's interesting. It never ceases to amaze me what people catch on this show. I never would have even thought to check something like that. I'm glad there are people who do.

I'll have to check that out next time the ep is on...either that, or I'll break out the DVD.
