since ME-TV is currently showing the final season, are they going to show the 2 and a half-hour finale?

Not that I want to see it; as it's not very good. It has a couple good parts but that's all.

The bad parts are like when Klinger gets on the phone and bad mouths Syngman Rhee. Hey,North Korea's Kim II Sung started the whole war and mass-murdered to boot. No bad word for Kim! Other bad parts too. Charles's boring, forgetable symphony conductor subplot. A symphony conductor was not what Mash ever needed. But they (the scriptwriters) gave Charles all the best lines. So unfair!

the worst part is the fire that burns down the unit-that was SO OBVIOUSLEY tacked on. I know they did it because a real fire burned down the outdoor set while they were filming so they decided to write it into the show but they could have done a MUCH better job of tacking it on.

They probably will show it, but like you said it is not really the greatest of finales.
