Actress Carol Faylen

I've noticed actress Carol Faylen in four separate episodes of LITB during the sixth (1962-63) season. Even though she was in her very early teens in those shows, she really stands out on the screen.

Actually, her looks and talents should come as no surprise. Her father, Frank Faylen, had a long acting career on both TV and in films. Among those were "Ernie the Cabdriver" in It's A Wonderful Life and the father of "Dobie Gillis" on the TV series. Her mother, Carol Hughes, also appeared in many films, including the part of "Dale Arden" in the third Flash Gordon serial, Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe.

Carol Faylen went on to appear in "The Bing Crosby Show" series on ABC-TV during the 1964-65 season where she played one of Bing's daughters.

Is that the same actress who used the name Carol Sydes? Or maybe that was Cindy Carol. She was a very pretty blonde girl who played Penny Jamison in Wally's Dance. I have to look up Carol Faylen.
