I saw the first two episodes of Growing Up Fisher and really liked this show. JK Simmons plays a loving father with a daughter and a young son, and he is close to the son. He is divorced amicably with his younger wife. He plays a lawyer who tried to hide his disability, to humorous results.
His brother is played by Bill Fagerbakke, who played Dawber on the ABC show Coach. Damn, he got old! Looking up his Wiki, he is 55 years old! Wasn't he a college kid back in the Clinton years? From what I have seen, this is a nice show and the Simmons father character is really a beautiful, funny guy, with the attitude Simmons gives his roles. I am a JK Simmons fan, so I may be biased, but I would like this show to succeed. |

Yes 100% agreement.....
The other new NBC comedy which follows it "About A Boy" is also a refreshing well written comedy........ Both have no laughtracks and are filmed without an audience. Hopefully these are not short ordered episode shows. |

Can't DVR it, it conflicts with what I currently have. I'll just have to wait for the reruns.
