I have mentioned on various occasions that my favorite actress is this show's lovely little Helen Hunt. Whenever I hear of anything that happened in 1963, my mind races towards her because that is the year that she was born. My guess would be that when most people in the United States think of 1963, they think of the assassination of President Kennedy. Well, a while ago, I learned that 1963 was also the year that actor Bob Newhart got married. If you look a few threads below this one, you will see another post by me called "Bob Newart". This post is all about that reality. When that thread did not spark any conversation I wrote about something else that happened that you. The thing that I choose this time around is that optional prayer in the public schools was outlawed by the federal government of the United States. Still no replies! Well, on this very evening, I have learned about yet another event that happened that year! My guess would by that a lot of you have heard of Fred Rogers from the TV Show "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood". Well, before he was the host of the show, he worked as a Presbyterian Minister. He was ordained in 1963! Helen emerged from the womb the same year that Fred became a minister! Wow! And before I sign off, I would just like to say that I hope that the late Fred Rogers is resting is peace!
