Leonard & Penny: Stale?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Is it just me or is the Leonard & Penny relationship kind of blah this season. Penny always seems pissed off or blase and there doesn't seem to be much spark between them at times.

I know they're past the "honeymoon" phase of their relationship, but even the ongoing relationships between the other couples still has some zing to them.

I don't think their relationship is stale. In fact, during the last few episodes, the Penny/Leonard dynamic has felt pretty fresh.

The table episode the other day is a good example. I thought it was hilarious that Leonard put his foot down on which table he was buying, but completely caved a moment later just at the slight sound of disapproval in her voice.

(BTW, the table they ultimately chose was terrible).
