I heard a rumor that they are still making star trek 3 I think the same people are going to be in it it may be out in 2016. but jj Abrams not returning to director it cause he's doing star wars.

JJ Abrams should finish filming Star Trek 3 before continuing Star Wars, as a matter of fact.

Star Trek 3 has already been made- It's called "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock".

As for Star Trek XIII, I hope something is explained about the fate of Spock and the planet Vulcan, but it seems they're going to just ignore that. Hopefully, William Shatner will finally get a cameo in this new movie.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Star Trek 3, I've enjoyed the the last 2 reboot movies.

There's been rumors of a 3rd Sherlock Holmes, but who knows if it will happen.

I'd rather get away from J.J. Abrams' Star Trek movies and do a Star Trek movie with the remaining casts of all the TV shows- "Star Trek" (and "Star Trek: The Animated Series"), "Star Trek: The Next Generation", "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine", "Star Trek: Voyager" and "Star Trek: Enterprise". I'd love to see a storyline where various characters from all these series show up and interact- we could even bring in original characters from the "Star Trek: New Frontier" book series as well, for that matter.
And I'd love to see John de Lancie as Q somehow involved in the mix of it all. (I already got the Borg movie I was wanting when "Star Trek: First Contact" released- I'd love to see a Q movie now.)
