In many of the early episodes, by the front door are three little paintings on the left side of the wall. One of them is a religious painting that is very popular in NYC. It is called the Madonna of the Streets. It looks like this:
It is called the Madonna of the Streets because she is supposed to protect young people, especially those being abused, forgotten, on the street. It is often used by Christian groups that protect children. Just something I noticed. (May all young people be taken care of by a family like the Lanes and other good people.) |
