Default UM's Who The BLEEP Did I Marry?

So, if you're not familiar with the show, here is some good info on it:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1705096/

Anyways, I was thinking about turning this into a poll, but there are so many 'bad' spouses that have been profiled on UM that a poll would have been impossible. They are all very different (and bad) in their degrees of what they actually did. How can you compare what say, Judy Grozinger did (allegedly) to her husband to say what Melvine Aprile did to hers?

So, I thought this would be a great place to list all the bad husbands and wives out their in UM.

I'll start it off:

- Judy Grozinger (allegedly) arranged her husband's murder for insurance money and to live life as a lesbian.

- Melvine Aprille stole 2 million dollars from her husband while he was seriously ill (also while she was caring for him) went on to kidnap their two children.

Elizabeth Ortiz - tried to poison her husband to death, then kidnapped their baby and fled the country for years.

Dennis Depue - beat his wife in front of their children, then under the guise of taking her to the hospital for treatment, shoots her to death and dumps her body.

Leonard Rizzo - likely murdered his wife after abusing her, chopping her body into pieces and discarding it in his own backyard, then never getting caught for it because the case got screwed up with misidentification of the remains.

Paul Pollis, for killing his wife, stuffing her body in a storage shed, and getting his parents to help cover up.

Stephen Marfeo: Had his wife followed by two different PIs before she vanished, was not nearly so concerned when she vanished, and later shot and killed an ex-girlfriend, wounded her boyfriend, and then took his own life. Wow. Let's not forget how guilty he looks in terms of Doreen's disappearance, either.

Mark Nichols: More than likely guilty of abusing and killing his wife

James Vess: Would beat his wife for hiding his liquor, killed her on her birthday, and caused his nine children to be torn apart

Laura Law: Killed her husband over a gambling dispute and then hid his body in a shed in the backyard

Forgot the mother of all bad wives:

Marie Hilley, poisoned her husband for years until he died, spent all his life insurance money, started to poison her son and daughter for the same reason. Flees up north to marry a man under a secret identity, fakes her death, and returns to her husband as her imaginary twin sister.

Steve Page, Kathy Page's husband. I definitely think he was responsible for her death.

Joe Maloney - poisoned his wife with arsenic and fled to Ireland, which at the time had no extradition treaty with the United States.

Dave Davis - poisoned his wife with succinylcholine and attempted to make it look like a horseback-riding accident in order to gain life insurance payouts--police theorized that he had planned to do so before the wedding. He disappeared for nearly ten years until finally being found in American Samoa.

Jim Harrison - Of "Susan, you're being bad again" fame.

Astarte Davis - Insurance fraudster, document forger, and probable murderer. After her husband Jim Rice disappeared, she sold off his belongings at a garage sale. Later escaped from prison while serving a 15-year sentence for other crimes and was caught and returned to prison in 2002. She has never been charged in connection with Jim Rice's disappearance.

Betty Field - Kidnaps her son Christophe from husband Bill Day and flees to France, who sadly learns that he died from leukemia.

David Viera - Abused his wife Alice for years and then murdered her after she left him.

James Donald King - Murdered his two wives. This was the guy that was released on parole after serving three years.

Bo Tanner - not even his real name - bigamist, arsonist, con man, and his wife said she'd take him back!!!!??? By the time he was found, the statute of limitations ran out on all his crimes.

Philip Breen - serial embezzler, went on the run, leaving his unsuspecting wife behind. She lost just about everything she owned because of his crimes, and I think he's never been located.

Paul Stamper - abusive, controlling, violent weirdo. When his wife was finally getting away from him, he hired a hit man to kill her. In a case of mistaken identity, the hit man stabbed her friend instead. Paul decided to do it himself the next time, and opened fire on his wife and her boyfriend while they were in a car, then kidnapped his wife. He escaped from prison, but was eventually caught.

Chad Noe - marrying (and divorcing) him meant experiencing the wrath of Chad and his entire psychotic family for poor Wendy Camp. Three innocent victims, including a child, and no one has been to jail when the entire planet knows who is responsible.

EAR - we don't know if he was/is married, but if he was/is, being responsible for at least 50 horrifying rapes and 10 brutal murders....that goes right up there with "Husband of the Year".

Joe Owens, the guy that gunned down his wife and daughters (although they may have been step-daughters?). That's right up there with Brad Bishop behavior.

There are countless more. I forget the people's name in the segment, but there was also that African American lady who had a crazy husband, and one night when she came home he was at the house (despite the restraining order she had). She tried to escape by running over the to the neighbours, but he gunned her and the neighbours down. He went on the run but was eventually caught, I just forget his name now.
