I thought that this was a great episode. Nice storyline and script. Funny lines and then current topics....Hello, Dolly was the big Broadway show at the time. I'm surprised that Natalie and Martin had to wait only 3 months for them. I also like when Natalie was appalled at paying $50 for one night of catering in NYC. William Scharlatt did a great job in this role. I thought the back shots of the stand in for him were terrible. That stand was nothing like him.
I also like how Uncle Jed came up with some great ideas to salvage the evening. And it was a nice idea for kids. Fancy dinner party at home. Jean Byron was certainly a voluptuous doll. It was also a good tie in to Cathy being in France...how else would Patty get the dress and start the story rolling. |

Poor Cath was not in this episode at all. Producers didn't even throw a crumb for the character....BTW what was the Martin/Jed stand-in's name. His head was shaped kinda lopsided imho. |
