Default Original ABC Leave it to Beaver Promo Here

This is claimed to be from 1961:

It's about a minute long. There is some unrelated Beaver stuff as well. It was a commercial break for ABC when this originally aired. However, because Beaver clips from the original run are so rare, I had to share this:

That was fun to watch.....TV was so wholesome back then and they always tried to teach a lesson and do the right thing. Thanks for sharing that.

That was actor/announcer Bill Baldwin as the father of "Mary Ellen Rogers" in the one clip. Interesting promo. Based on the PSA for the Boy Scouts at the end of the overall cut from youtube, you can tell this is from 1961. That organization turned 51 in that year.

I really liked the Milk Duds commercial. Hey now that you mention Bill Baldwin can you name at least three other times we saw Bill Baldwin other than playing Mr. Rogers in Wally's Weekend Job when he brought over the ice cream?

He played the part of "Frank" in The Mother's Day Composition; "Mr. Johnson" in Forgotten Party and a board of health officer in "A Horse Named Nick".

In all respect, Bill Baldwin's voice is probably more well known than his face. He did many voice-overs in shows and commercials or is just heard like coming over a radio in a scene on TV or motion pictures.

I would like to find a commercial opening to the LITB episodes from the more recent years when I understand the sponsor was General Electric. I have seen the openings when the sponsor was Ralston Purina and commercials done by Jerry Mathers for Purina Dog Chow that were used in the show, but have never seen any opening with G.E. I also seem to remember Remington Rand as a sponsor in the first year or two. Does anyone have any information on this?

Some of the first season eps showed a typewriter in the background of the closing credits.
