That song is practically my favorite!!! I got it on my Walkman when I lift....METAL at the fitness center!!!

That particular song and the whole Screaming For vengeance & Defenders Of the Faith albums remind me of when I was a teenager in the '80s and would chit-chat with the neighborhood boys at my window! LOL! Ah....the good 'ol days!

One song I thought of putting on here was "Take On All the World", from 'Hellbent For Leather'. I really got into that song in 1979!!!

Take On the All the World is pretty good and Rock You All Around the World from Turbo is pretty good. My favorite from the Turbo album is Out In the Cold. Rob Halford killed that song when he sung it live in concert. The audience was chanting "Judas f**king Priest, Judas f**king Priest!"

I first saw Judas Priest open for UFO in 1979!!! Awesome!!! But then I hadn't seen them again until Ozzfest in 2004.

They were awesome in 1988. That's right when Turbo came out. I was 16. I bet they were great when you saw them in 1979. I was only seven, so I was probably too young. I remember in 1979 my best friend and her older brother were big Kiss fans.

I remember also in 1979 when I was still a big KISS fan, even though they had a disco hit, and though they had a very elaborate stage show and costumes with the 'Dynasty'
tour that fall, unfortunately their popularity was about to take a huge hit. For at least the next few years.

I never really got into Kiss. In 1979 my uncle was into Led Zeppelin big time, and he got me and my brother into them. We always made fun of my friend's dumb Kiss dolls.

I think that in the late '70's when all that merch was going haywire, that's what soured people on KISS. Too overcommercialized, but of course, that's what Gene Simmons was going for. KISS = KI$$.

Of course, I had to buy all the KISS bubble gum cards--and skip out of my paper route one afternoon to see Paul Stanley do a record signing in Seattle.

I'm trying to find out about that, I think there may be some relation.

Unfortunately, K.K. Downing did leave Judas Priest a few years ago for a number of reasons, including the fact that he felt people were more interested in them for the nostalgia factor than for the fact that they were still doing compelling music, such as on 'Nostradamus'.

nope - it is the bassist Ian Hill who is married to Rob Halford's sister, and it was him who helped bring RH into the band
