(Ralph & Ed are dressed up as Presidents. Ralph is dressed up as George Washington.)
(Ralph goes to the window and sticks his head out.) Ralph (yells): "NORTON, COME ON DOWN. I AM READY FOR THE RACCOON PRESIDENT'S PLAY." Ed (from upstairs, yells): "I WILL BE RIGHT DOWN." (Ed comes down dressed as Uncle Sam.) Ralph: "You stupe. Uncle Sam wasn't a President." Ed: "He wasn't?" Ralph: "No. Too bad that George Washington was taken." Ed: "Well, I guess I have to return this costume to the costume store. I wonder if they will tkae it back even though it stinks of sewage since I took it down in the sewer with me." (Ralph rolls his eyes.) Ralph: "Well Norton, think of what a great Presidental play this is going to be. I might be on my ticket to Hollywood." Ed: "Or Miami Beach." (Audience cheers.) Ralph: "That too. I might go down there and play golf year round." (Audience cheers because that is what Jackie did in real life.) Ed: "I hope that Barack Obama sees this play." Ralph: "Oh, you mean the person that CNN called George W. Bush 2.0?" Ed: "George W. Bush 2.0? Who is George W. Bush 1.9?" (Ralph rolls his eyes.) Ralph: "Norton, the second coming of something is technically called 2.0." Ed: "Oh. You learn something new every day. Just like yesterday, I learned that Barack Obama is in his seventh year in office." Ralph: "Oooooh, you ought to lay down with a cold towel on yoru head pal. But, I think that this Presidental play will be better than the one that is at Walt Disney World. We should be happy that all our presidents allow this country to be the land of the free and home of the brave." (They sing a song about U.S. Presidents.) (Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.) Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT." (Audience cheers.) |
