since THE WONDER YEARS has just been announced as coming to DVD and the company is trying REALLY HARD to release it with all the original music intact, could this mean a possible DVD release for the remaing seasons with all the original music; is in store?

If it happens, it will be thanks to Time Life. I also think Time Life is our only hope of getting "The Drew Carey Show", "Murphy Brown", "Maude", "Step by Step", and "Perfect Strangers". Basically, if a show has music issues, our only hope is Time Life.

Time-Life does seem to be the only company that doesn't write off a series as a potential release simply because of music rights issues. Most of their releases - Carol Burnett Show, China Beach, Mama's Family and now Wonder Years all had a ton of music to clear but they somehow managed to do the near impossible. I would agree that they are about the only hope that WKRP will ever get a proper release.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat!! I think because we least expect it to happen, that it will....eventually! I'd love to see those un-edited episodes!

well, by now you've all heard that SHOUT! is releasing the COMPLETE series in a couple weeks-and someone posted a review of it on Amazon (he said he got a copy of it by pre-ordering it or something) and he says that MOST-but not all-of the original music is (drum roll) INTACT!!! He also says that the episodes are complete and uncut!!!
