It's just scatting. The only real words are "that's all." It was performed by David Cassidy

I think that is about the time David Cassidy started to decline as a musican, when he created that terrible theme for the Larroquette show. It's one of the most awful things I've heard, there's nothing musical about it at all, just a bunch of babbling and scatting.

Speaking of David Cassidy, I guess he's been in Chicago these days at a recording studio working on his album Songs My Father Taught Me. David said on his website that he thinks this will be his final recording. This is sad in a way but I know David's health hasn't been great lately so I imagine he's thinking it's near time to retire.

David Cassidy had always been a fairly youthful looking guy, until he got past the age of 60 and then the years started catching up with him. He's 67 now, having some health issues and as a result he's stopped touring and not doing any live shows. If the album he's currently working on is to be his last, that is sad but he's had a long career, might be time now for him to relax, enjoy life and take care of himself.

You're right. I would love to read a book about him that talks about all of his issues.
