Who knows which castaways had look-alikes on the show (i.e. same actor/actress playing both roles)?

I am not referring to dreams in the scripts.

Can you name or describe the episodes?

I was only thinking about this the other day. This was quite a regular device in a lot of shows.

Gilligan and a Russian spy

Mr Howell and an imposter

Ginger and Eva Grubb.

Correct. If there was a season 4, I wonder if there would have been another cast member look-alike.

I would have liked to have seen the Skipper portray someone with a different personality. Just to show his talents as an actor. I not saying I dislike his interpretation of the Skipper. It's perfect.

Gilligan's Russian spy double (Agent 222)- 'Gilligan vs Gilligan'

Ginger's frumpy, man hating double- 'All About Eva'

both in season three.

I wish Mary Ann had had an evil double episode.

"Will the Real Mr. Howell Please Stand Up?" (season 2-episode 26) was the one where the Howell imposter was on the yacht, fell overboard, and swam to the island/ It was on TVLand last night.

"Gilligan vs. Gilligan" (season 3-episode 2) had the fake Gilligan who was a spy. The fake Gilligan had the pocketknife with a radio, etc. It airs tonight.

"All About Eva" (season 3-episode 14) was the episode with the actress who comes to the island, takes Ginger's identity, and is the fake Ginger when she returns to Hollywood.
