Default I couldnt stand Dana from day one...

I just didnt like her. She always had a nasty comment for JT, Frank, Cody etc. I always thought she was better than everyone and had a surly comment constantly. I dont think she ever said anything remotely funny. Just nastiness all the way around.

Yeah, she was very annoying, unlikeable and not funny at all.She really added nothing to the show. Sasha Mitchell (Cody)was one of the main reasons the show worked and once he left, the show really slid downhill fast.

Yeah I guess if Dana were less pretty then it's undertandable for her rotten personality but watching a pretty girl with a mean streak is no good for any guy.

And didn't her personality start to change when she started hooking up with J.T.'s friend?

I dont think so. She was still snarky. I dont know why. Ex. the episode where she was running the 50s cafe and ordering her family around, being snotty, your supposed to feel bad for her but I don't. She was always like that.

I imagine that all these years later, ol' Barky is married to one of those spineless guys that does everything his wife tells him to do. He stays with her cause he believes no one else would love him.

I loved Dana. I loved her being snarky and sarcastic. Those Lambert children were brats. We needed someone strong for the opposition. I grew to like the Lambert kids seasons later and was glad Mark got some backbone later down the line along with Al transforming. Gosh! I thought she was looking great.

It seemed to me that Dana was the perfect foil for JT and Cody: uptight while they were calm, precise where they were sloppy, intelligent where they were complete idiots. Dana brought balance to the show, which otherwise would have slid into idiocy very quickly.

I think she was just more sarscastic toward JT. She made fun of Cody more since he was like a white JJ. Tall and goofy
