However I'm not sure what's more ridiculous: the fact that I'm not even exaggerating when I claim the "technique" is abused more times in one episode than the duration of most series in comparison, or that I'm still watching. I literally cringe during the scenes that star Hanna's mom because she is arguably the biggest culprit. Emily used to hold that title, but Shay's acting has drastically improved
I've never been one of those people -- and I truly mean no offense toward anyone who is -- to logicize that I must continue to watch a program after I've invested a good deal of time (2 years or more) into it. For instance, I gave up on "True Blood" after season four and "Once Upon a Time" last midseason. But no matter how sloppy the plotlines and dialogue become, incredulous the Liars' actions are, or Aria's increasing stupidity, I guess I'm still hooked because Rosewood's environment (a good deal of which is recycled from Gilmore Girls' set) is alluring and I love a mystery #GuiltyPleasure101 |
