I was recently over on the "Caroline in the City" section of this site posting a message about how there are getting to be fewer and fewer places where people can post message about TV shows, famous people or just about anything else. As some of you might know, there is a site dedicated to that show's Lea Thompson called the "90 Faces of Lea Thompson". I remember how that site used to have a message board that you could post on without going through any red tape at all. Back in the day, I posted quite a bit on it and hada let of fun. No more! The few sites that still do have a place where you can post message make you jump through so many hoops that all of the fun is taken out of it. Well, another example is a site dedicated to this show's lovely little Lauri Hendler! It use to have a message board that was very easy to post on. I had a lot of fun writing about how pretty and talented I thought Lauri was. Now that message board is gone too. I guess that too many people abused the privilege. Quite shameful in my opinion!

Unfortunately some people use anonymity of the internet to post some very nasty stuff. I'm not surprised that some celebrities have removed message boards from their sites. It's sad that so many good fans have this privilege taken away from them because of a few bad apples.

I see what you mean about how some people abuse a lot of these types of message boards. On this very page, some people have written some very rude and insensitive stuff! Let us see how much longer this message board lasts! In any event, thank you for your kind words of support. |

I can understand you not remembering Lauri's message board. It has been years since she had one. |
