Lol Family Matters Season 4 DVD looks 1970's cover Art

Why does Season 4 of Family Matters looks a lot diff'rent from the other 3 seasons the season 4 DVD cover art looks like a groovy 70's disco color to it since the show came out in the 1990's shouden't it have more of a 90's look to it ???

Season 3 is my favorite art so far. I've always really liked that season 3 cast photo. Season 1's art will always be my least favorite because they screwed up the Judy picture.

I hope they include Myra on season 5's (probably my favorite season) artwork.

Personally, I like the season four cover. It's colorful, and the cast pictures are all nice pics. I like season three's also as Urkel seems to be a little smaller on that cover. Season two is nice also, I just wish The Winslow's were bigger, the dvd menu art for that season looks better because it's bigger on there. Season one is ok, but Urkel shouldn't be the focus, and getting Judy wrong sucks. Ironically that might be the biggest picture of Urkel, as he seems to have gotten smaller on other covers.

I have no idea what season five's artwork will be, seasons one through four all used very common cast photos from that season. Google image Family Matters cast and that pic is likely to be the first result of each season.
But season five doesn't really have any common pictures. There's this one: http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lr...v24o1_1280.jpg
but it's kind of awkward looking and they usually edit Urkel out and put a bigger picture of him on, but that would be kind of hard.

I agree- that could be a great Season 5 DVD cover art picture. I'd much rather see that than some of the other cover art done so far. But my main issues are the same ones that have been said before- namely, it would be nice to have a picture that has Steve Urkel in the same proportions as the Winslows. I mean, I know Warner Bros. is not too subtly reminding everyone of Steve Urkel as the big draw of the show for many people (and honestly, some people even simply refer to "Family Matters" as "Urkel", a testament to how big of a character he had become on the show...)- but nonetheless, it would still be good to see the Winslows bigger on the cover- it would be good for all of them to have equal billing on the cover, as they are all equally important for the show.
But the 4th. season DVD cover didn't strike me as particularly "1970s", though I suppose I can see a little bit of that. In any case, it's not a big deal to me. If they were going to be really accurate with cover art design, they could use the actual "Family Matters" logo from the TV show instead of the font that's been currently used. I'd much rather see that myself.

The one I just posted? I'm not sure. I think it was used in later seasons- maybe Season 4 onward? ....
In any case, the font is the same throughout the series' run.

Season six. You can tell by Laura's hair. It's shorter than in season five, but longer than in season seven.

Well this is a good question sorry folks i have not been on SitcomsOnline for a few days lol i been busy dealing with the real world but i am back now, people keep saying that the Myra Monkhouse character did not get much screen time until season 6 thats not true Myra Monkhouse was in alot of episodes in season 4 thats why i keep saying they should have included her picture for the season 4 DVD cover Art if Michelle Thomas was still living in the year 2014 she would be pissed off and offended lol.

I doubt she'd be offended, Jaimee Foxworth didn't get offended that they put Valerie Jones on the cover instead of her. Myra was only in four or five season four episodes. People are saying that she became a REGULAR IN THE OPENING in season six.

Exactly! I knew that was season six as I watched when it first aired. Plus, the hairstyles are very distinctive for that season.
