"Good Luck Charlie" Series Finale Set for Sun., Feb. 16th
Exclusive: Disney Channel Schedules "Good Luck Charlie" Finale
Jan 21, 2014 by Michael Schneider Goodbye and good luck, "Good Luck Charlie". The Disney Channel sitcom will end its four-season run with a one-hour episode on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8/7c. The hit series will end with Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) leaving for college and struggling to shoot one final video diary for her young sister Charlie (Mia Talerico). Also in the episode, parents Amy and Bob Duncan (Leigh-Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer) are planning a going-away party for Teddy, while a surprise guest — Teddy's former boyfriend, Spencer — shows up unexpectedly. "Good Luck Charlie" premiered in April 2010 and ultimately aired more than 100 episodes. Highlights of the show's run included the June 2012 episode featuring the birth of baby Toby, which attracted 8.9 million viewers. The Disney Channel original movie Good Luck Charlie: It's Christmas averaged 8.3 million viewers when it premiered in December 2011, making it cable's most-watched live-action movie that year. More recently, "Good Luck Charlie" made headlines for featuring a family with two moms — a Disney Channel first. In the week leading up to the finale, favorite episodes selected by cast members will air, starting with Mendler's pick on Monday, Feb. 10, followed by Jason Dolley (Tuesday, Feb. 11), Bradley Steven Perry (Wednesday, Feb. 12), Kramer (Thursday, Feb. 13) and Baker (Friday, Feb. 14). Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen (Suddenly Susan) created "Good Luck Charlie" and executive produce with Dan Staley (Cheers). http://www.tvguide.com/News/Good-Luc...e-1076386.aspx |

It's a shame the show is ending.

I believe that is on tonight's episode, I don't think it has aired yet.

Exclusive Series Finale Sneak Peek: "Good Luck Charlie" Goes Out on a [Sniff!] Musical Note
by Matt Webb Mitovich 2/12/14 I hope you don’t mind… I hope you don’t mind… but the air’s about to get dusty in the Duncan house. Disney Channel’s "Good Luck Charlie" ends its four-season, 100-episode run this Sunday at 8/7c with an hour-long send-off, and TVLine has an exclusive look at a fitting final musical flourish from Bridgit Mendler‘s Teddy and her sometime beau Spencer (returning guest star Shane Harper). In the series finale, Teddy is finding it hard to shoot a final video diary for her little sister Charlie, while Amy and Bob plan a special going away party for their college-bound daughter. In the clip below, surprise party guest Spencer, at wee Charlie’s urging, joins Teddy for a touching duet. Leading up to the show’s swan song, cast members have been taking turns hosting nights featuring their favorite episodes. Bradley Steven Perry (“Gabe”) is up tonight, followed by Eric Allan Kramer (on Thursday) and Leigh-Allyn Baker (Friday). A final trip down memory lane, featuring the whole cast, airs Saturday evening. http://tvline.com/2014/02/12/good-lu...cer-your-song/ |
