Just discovered this show after a blind buy of the complete series at Walmart.

Love Love Love the chemistry between the handsome & polite Canadian Mountie and the wise-cracking & Armani wearing Chicago cop.

Unusual show for its time even has dead dads appearing in certain episodes, deaf wolf, and many zany characters some irrelevant but supportive of the 2 male leads.

Yeah, I watched this show in its original run in the 1990s. Though it was set in Chicago, the show was filmed in Canada.

Ray Vecchio had that great 1972 Buick Riviera, a classic car now.

The dog Diefenbaker was played by a couple of different animals during the run of the show.

I have the first two seasons on dvd and really enjoy watching them.

I assumed it was filmed in Chicago but now that you mention it I also noticed some extras had a slight Canadian accent as well.

I googled Paul Gross and he really is true CANADIAN. He doesn't play one on tv
