Eek Uncredited in Season 5 But Stand-outs

Not only is Ann Jillian a site for sore eyes in Hazel Season 5 but there are 2 actors who also appear in episode 5.8 "Hazel Sits It Out" but they both go uncredited. I'm talking about Andy Griffith's Howard Sprague (Paul Dodson) shows up to look over the house Hazel's trying to sell but then a young brown haired (wig, I believe) Bonnie Franklin (One Day At A Time) shows up with her young boyfriend as they want to dream about the house they'll buy one day. Now I'm sure this is Paul Dodson, but I'm only 90% sure the girl is Bonnie Franklin. Anyone notice her and do you think she is Bonnie Franklin? And I'd like to know why these 2 actors who had semi-extensive speaking parts in this episode were not credited?

The same season Bonnie had a small part in a Munsters episode called "Herman's Sorority Caper" and she was a brunette in that one too so perhaps it was her. Not sure why the Hazel producers wouldn't credit her though.

imdb lists un-credited stars and Bonnie Franklin is not listed among them for Hazel. Also, Hazel is not listed under Bonnie Franklin's credits on imdb, so I'm guessing it wasn't her.

Crazy

What are you gonna believe, your eyes and what's in front of you on the TV screen or the internet?

Take a look at the episode and it's pretty obvious it's Bonnie. IMDB has been known for not knowing everything, but I do credit them, when they learn of facts they will update. Maybe I ought to break it to them. Nah, let them discover it one day.

I'll have to pick up Season 5 just for those two episodes LOL. If you recognized her in the Munsters you can recognize her in Hazel.

Just watched 'Hazel Sits It Out' and agree, it's Jack Dodson from 'The Andy Griffith Show' and Bonnie Franklin. It's no doubt her (the eyes and voice). Agree, odd neither were credited in the end credits.

Great episode also featuring Mabel Albertson (Darren's Mom on Bewitched and Jack Dodson's Mom on Andy) and Eleanor Audley (Oliver Douglas's Mom on Green Acres).

Another interesting note, Season 5 of Hazel was 1965-1966 and that was the year Jack Dodson joined Andy so interesting Mother/Son Mabel and Jack appeared in the same Hazel episode together.

Bonnie Franklin did sport dark hair in the 60's and was making appearances on Gidget around the same time of the final season of Hazel. They were both Screen Gems shows.

I also saw dark haired Bonnie in a Munsters episode and a short lived sitcom Karen. Which were both Universal shows created by Joe Connelly and Bob Mosher (the creators of Leave It To Beaver).

The rare Karen episode with Bonnie and Debbie Watson as the title character can be viewed on youtube. The episode is listed as Karen Holiday In Ski Valley.

I just saw the episode, and yes that IS Bonnie Franklin. Hazel had the habit of leaving out actor credits, if there were too many guest stars! Bonnie Franklin, Jack Dodson, and whoever played Franklin's boyfriend were not credited!
