Default Penny Marshall comes out

http://www.nationalenquirer.com/cele...ll-gay-shocker

The ENQUIRER has also learned that Penny’s longtime partner is an A-list celebrity with a Hollywood pedigree.

“She wanted to come out with Penny a long time ago, but she didn’t want to add to Penny’s stress while she was going through cancer treatment,” the source explained.

At 70 years old, she is FAR too old for anyone to care about who she is having sex with. YUCK! At that age if you are having sex with EITHER gender, you can consider yourself LUCKY!

I wonder who the A-list celebrity with a Hollywood pedigree is?
It sounds like Carrie Fisher.

"Hollywood pedigree" does refer to Fisher, but she's hardly A-list anymore.

Perhaps Angelica Huston? They were together a lot in the early 80's when Penny was with Art Garfunkel and Angelica was with his close friend, Jack Nicholson

Who says she's having sex? Why does your mind go there? All she did was announce she's a Lesbian!

Two Things. If you re-read my response to her coming out. you will see I lean towards the likely hood that at her age she is NOT having sex. Second. SEXual preference is described by the terms straight, homosexual, lesbian, bi-sexual, trandgender (who THEY prefer is ANYONE'S guess). So the announcement of being a LESBIAN decribes her SEXUAL prreference;.IF she were having sex, which again at HER age is as unlikely as it is unappealing.

Not all that unlikely. Senior living facilities and over 55 communities are becoming rife with STDs since the residents like to indulge (thank you Viagra! ) and many health care professionals assume as CleverFun does, that there is no need to discuss sexual health with them.

It's all about perspective. Sex at 70 may seem unappealing to someone who's in their 20's, 30's or 40's, but they may think differently when they get to be that age.

If so Penny has not denied it. She could sue. They reported that she was sick and she denied and then it turned out she did have cancer. She now says she is in remission but she still looks like a very sick woman.

Good for her. If she is happy than she deserves happiness.

Well, of course. So many of them are ex-members of the generation that advocated "free love."

But anyway, Mike L does have a point about the lack of credibility of the National Enquirer.

Did Rob Reiner have anything to say about this? I know that they did that semi-autobiographical made-for-TV movie during the late-1970's about their rise to stardom, and they had a scene where Rob's character offered sex with Penny's character in order to help her with a sex scene for a movie or play, or something like that:

There have been instances where TNE was 100% accurate.

They claimed John Edwards cheated on his dying wife. True statement.

They claimed Morgan Freeman married his teenage stepdaughter. True statement.

Rob Reiner did come to visit when Penny first got sick. Rob did cheat on Penny. He made some kind of statement that it was an open marriage to him anyway. Penny never said anything about cheating on him. The relationship with Art Garfunkel was off and on and he did offer to marry her. Penny's response was that they fought all the time. Art did marry after that. I still don't know what that woman does. Art has this kid in his early twenties that left home at age 15 and lives in Germany. A few years ago Art and his wife had a kid with a Surrogate. Art at age 72 has an eight year old. Penny said that Art was nice and just eccentric. I guess Penny never mentioned the gay thing in her bio and it was a late in life thing. I Agree that her generation was part of the free love generation. Penny had a daughter in college and never had a chance to explore options.

People knew about John Edwards and his cheating before TNE said anything about it and it was rumored that Morgan Freeman was going to marry his teenage step-granddaughter but never did.
