I would have put Corsican or Mother-in-Law of the Year as the MVE this season. I also love the Serena episodes Darrin on a Pedestal, Darrin the Bold and Samantha and the Troll. Samantha's Magic Mirror, though not great, also has some of Esmerelda's best moments when she believes she's now a raving beauty.

I like "The Corsican Cousins" too -- that would have been one of the other (few) candidates for MVE this season.

From what I gather, "Samantha And The Troll" seems to be a popular episode. I've never been able to enjoy it as much as others do though. What do you like about it, Kasey?

Though plot-wise, there's nothing original about it, I enjoy Serena's line readings the most. From "What's the matter, Super-boob too cheap to hire a maid?" to "I promise I'll be nice to the client...I don't know about his wife" this is one of those episodes where Liz's performance transcends the average script. (See also "Serena's Richcraft" and "Samantha and the Loch Ness Monster"). It's also fun seeing Nan Martin get so unnerved as Serena-as-Sam flirts outrageously with Bob Cummings (and Larry's reaction when she grabs Bob's hand and says "Especially...touch!). Basically, the troll of the title really has nothing to do with my enjoyment of this episode.
