"Electric Boogie" by Marcia Griffiths from 1989 (but it sounded like it came out in 1976--aka the first year "L&S" came out--when I heard it first, LOL!) Youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mOY2eWO2qw When I heard that song the first time I couldn't help but think of Laverne being excited about having a brand spanking new electric appliance (an iron?). Electric slide, electric appliance, get it? Your thoughts?
