Postman Dorfman

Just noticed in Season 3, reference was made to postman Jenkins as Elm Streets mailman..... Wonder why they did not use Dorfman, as his character did not make a physical appearance......It was in the Private Eye episode. Anyone have any info on this... Thanks.

I am not sure Dorfman appeared after the first season. Couldn't tell you why. He wasn't the only neighbor to disappear ... Mrs. Holland (Helen Kleeb) never came around again after the first season, either.

Must have been a very fluid show through the seasons.... The backyard of the Wilsons changed frequently and probably some of the characters came and went over time.... I'll have to check to see if some of the staff changed also. (Producer and writers) That may explain some of it....
