I found this on You Tube and wanted to share it. She always had nothing but nice things to say about him, despite what he did when he worked on IDOJ. You can see she got a little choked up remembering him. I thought it was very sweet.
What do you think? |

Agreed! She only has praise for him in this interview.
And by the way, she really looks good for being 80 years old. She looks about 25 years younger than she is! One thing is that she hasn't overdone it with the plastic surgery. She may have had a bit of plastic surgery but she didn't go overboard like many actresses do. |

She really does look great... and only one tiny correction: She is 79 years old.. won't be 80 until August 2014.
I got to meet Barbara here in Melbourne, Australia in April last year and whilst I had the thrill of getting my portrait done with her it was in fact the quickest 90 seconds of my life!!! LOL. |

Geoff, there's a lot of controversy about whether the 1934 birth year was really correct. Her HS yearbook has been found, showing her graduating year as 1949. Unless she was 15 when she graduated (not unheard of), chances are she is older than is posted in so many places. This is not unheard of for Hollywood folks.

I Dream of Jeannie (IDOJ) was a great show and Barbara Eden truly lives up to her character. Both did not use drugs, sleep around, no alcohol, loyal to their loved ones, and classy with a capital C. Barbara even makes time for fans by actually reading fan mail and signing memorabilie(sent to her fan mail box) for free!!! She even was a singer like her characters on screen (Evil Jeannie sang in an episode). Lots of these new actors/singers are so messed up(Miley Cyrus, Larry Hagman(sadly), etc.). Of note, if you read various articles about her online, she is even exercising!!! A rare thing for people her age. She does spinning 3 times a week and then a little weights, in her own words... "it's good for the bones". Anyone who lives a healthy life and practices good habits will stay good-looking and younger than those who live unhealthy lives. She's a role model for everyone, celebrities, adults and kids.
There is a small petition started just for the 3rd IDOJ movie as well as a facebook webpage dedicated to the 3rd movie. Here's some links to check out. ( I won't post links if you are offended by them. Just mention it on the forum.) http://www.change.org/petitions/i-dr...-jeannie-movie www.facebook.com/IDreamOfJeannie3rdMovie?ref=hl and lastly Barbara Eden(who played Jeannie) comments on a 3rd movie here http://www.4kq.com.au/entertainment/...-out-of-bottle |

Thanks for posting. Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman were amazing together. I know they were not a couple in real life, but they played the roles so well that Barbara feels like Larry's widow to me. Jeannie without Major Nelson makes me sad.
