Nick at Nite Request: "Seinfeld"

Dear Nick at Nite Viewer Services,

I have a proposal for Nick at Nite: to make a deal with Sony Pictures Domestic Television Distribution for Nick at Nite to become the shared cable home (with TBS) of the hit 1990-1998 sitcom "Seinfeld."

Created by Larry David, "Seinfeld" cast successful stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld as Jerry Seinfeld, a local stand-up comedian based in New York City, New York who spent most of his free time hanging our with his 3 best friends, musing about life: Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Jerry's ex-girlfriend and platonic pal; George Costanza (Jason Alexander), his worrywart best friend; and neighbor Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards), an aspiring entrepreneur.

During its first 3 seasons, "Seinfeld" had VERY low ratings; in fact, the ratings were SO low upon being paired with the hit Disney sitcom "Home Improvement" that it was moved from Wednesday nights at 9 P.M. to Thursday nights at 9 P.M. just to be given a chance--a move making "Seinfeld" the classic it is today, a VERY good reason why I'm suggesting that Nick at Nite add "Seinfeld" to its regular schedule starting September 1, 2014 with a week-long "Sein-a-Thon," in which Jerry Seinfeld hosts his 40 favorite all-time episodes (10 per night in 4 nights) in a week-long salute from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET/PT, encoring from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. ET/PT, and encoring the last 2 episodes each night from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. ET/PT.

After the "Sein-a-Thon," Nick at Nite shall add "Seinfeld" to its regular lineup by airing Weeknights starting at 9 P.M. ET/PT, replacing "Full House" (the latter of which I suggest move to TeenNick on September 1, 2014).
