found this info looking for another UM story - I was searching for any update on 1 of my favorite Lost Love WW 2 stories: Helen from Czechoslovkia(?) who saw an american plane go down and hid them until her stepmother turned her in but before that contatced the underground - hoped that one would be solved
so from what I remember from the UM story is that his family gave him away to hide him, but he was found less than a year later and survived about 4 years in those horrific camps and when he was liberated a tank soilder gave him food and an american flag. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=945bF-rmBgE Published on Nov 12, 2012 "At the 2012 Veterans Day Ceremony held at the MA State House, Stephan Ross Holocaust Survivor met the family of 1LT Steve F. Sattler in Honor of what the Soldier did to change his life after being liberated from Dachau in 1945. This is the finish to a 67 mystery and an unsolved mysteries episode! I apologize for the shaking, I was crying "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obRHTipMS7E http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ed-Dachau.html http://www.wickedlocal.com/newton/ne...caust-survivor http://furtherglory.wordpress.com/20...au-liberation/ |
