Melrose Place 2.0(I think CW should have given it another shot.)

The Patty Duke Show (It was in talks to relaunch after the reunion movie according to some sources)

A modern day "Julia" Starring Dihann Carroll would have been nice as well.

When "Early Edition" went off the air, I was one of the fans rooting and writing for a 5th. season! I'd still love to see a reunion movie if the people involved would do it. Right now, I'll settle for finally seeing Seasons 3 and 4 on DVD.

The cancellation of this series was the moment that Commercial TV had, IMO "Jumped the shark". I didn't even know it was cancelled because the TV Listings still had EE on its schedule three weeks after I tuned to CBS to watch EE and wound up seeing a Cheesy Game Show Instead. From that point on I concentrated on watching The Discovery Channel, The History Channel and The Learning Channel, since they still had some decent programs to watch. Alas, that was not to be, these channels jumped on the "Reality Show" bandwagon, and the number of commercials rose to ludicrous levels.

Seven years ago yesterday was my seventh anniversary of "Cutting the Cord". Among the DVDs I own is Early Edition. The first two seasons a official releases, I procured seasons three and four from one of those "Trading Sites". (That's e-bay, ioffer.com and sell.com for those of you in Rio Linda)!

I have most all of Seasons 3 and 4 (as well as Seasons 1 and 2) taped on VHS from some of the original airings and/or syndicated reruns. And of course I have Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD since that got officially released. I'd still love to have an official DVD release for Seasons 3 and 4 though.
"Early Edition" was really the last show that I regularly followed on network television. After that show ended, I really quit watching much of anything on network TV- it's pretty rare that I watch any show on there now.

Yeah- it's been done with Hunter.
And it's worked well for some recent animated shows (The Family Guy, Futurama, etc.) [I don't care for any of those kind of animated shows- I wish they'd stayed dead, honestly- but those are examples in any case.]
