I have only seen this show when I was extremely young (When it was still on NBC on Saturday with Amen.) I barely remember it. But, I am watching right now. And, it's pretty funny. Plus, I always did like Marla Gibbs. So, I will probably get sucked into watching 227 every night.

I've been watching but I won't start recording episodes until season 2 starts because I already own season 1 on DVD.

Pearl was always my favorite character! She's a hoot!

Season 2 starts on Friday, January 31 @ 8:30PM

Since I've been watching and recording, I didn't realize how many episodes I have never seen or don't remember. I hope Encore airs more sitcoms in the future...it's a treat to watch these shows unedited and commercial-free!

Should be 24/7 on this channel of old tv shows uncut with no commericals.

Recording these episodes is so much easier because you don't have to worry about commercials.

Antenna is airing 227 in January. Although not as good as Encore's airings, of course, since they will probably be edited and credit crunched but it is coming!
