EXCLUSIVE! Daniel Cosgrove To "DAYS"

Soap vet Daniel Cosgrove (AMC, ATWT, GL) has joined the cast of "DAYS" in the new role of Aiden.

“This is the first time that I’ve ever played a daytime character that wasn’t played by someone else,” the actor tells Digest. Cosgrove, who began taping in September, will first air in late January.

"The cast, both female and male, are so beautiful, but they’re also so damn talented that it’s a little intimidating," he admits.

I vaguely remember him on the last few seasons of Beverly Hills 90210.

I liked him as Bill Lewis on Guiding Light.

Show killa! I like the guy. But, he's basically daytime's Ted McGinley. Every time he comes on a soap it gets cancelled a little while after. GL, ATWT, and then AMC.

I fear for you DAYS fans. He killed my All My Children...and I hope your show isn't next. Let the Cosgrove curse be over!

I like him. He's a good actor. I don't think he'll curse the show...at least I hope he doesn't. I've been a DAYS watcher/fan since 1995.

Don't get me wrong tlc. I like him too. But, for some reason...It just seems like the man gets on a soap and then a while later it dies.

The only time he didn't do that was when he originally played Scott on AMC. (the first time...back in the mid 90s. He was the first adult Scott and then Forbes March took the role (the guy who played Nash on OLTL), then Adam Mayfield and back to Cosgrove again)

I like Ted McGinley too. It's just like there's something about those two men though that makes shows kick the bucket.

He seems like a nice guy, but he was terrible as Chris Hughes on ATWT. He had no chemistry with Terri Colombino (Katie), who usually had it in spades with her other pairings (Brad, Henry and especially Simon).
