Defense lawyers for Ethan Couch said he suffered from "affluenza" thanks to his privileged upbringing, and his parents deserve some fault for the drunk driving crash that killed four.

I wonder what the therapy will do. When one kills 4 people and injures several more, you would think this teen would have remorse. My first thoughts, how does one get sloshed and think he can drive and have no accidents. The victims in this case should be so furious. I would recommend this young man to lose his license for life. One can survive without a car. It is tough but losing a love one is tougher. I did hear the family has been hit with all kinds of lawsuits. So sad drunk driving killings go on.

That's awful. He should be doing serious time for that. It's like he murdered them, and his car was the weapon. Shame on that judge.

In my opinion, he should have received twice the sentence he could have
been looking at, about 40 years, 10 for each of his four victims. |

I agree it's awful. He should face jail time. It's terrible that he isn't.

It is outrageous he is not doing any jail time. Talk about a miscarriage of justice.
