Some people would make a case with Mr. Belvedere.

In the beginning, it was prety realistic, with Mr. B giving sage advice to the three kids, Kevin, Heather, and Wesley. But by the final season or so (ESPECIALLY the final season from 1989 to 1990), it REALLY became a cartoon. The fact that all three kids were growing up, and getting ready to move on with their lives, also didn't help (at least they didn't add a younger kid, though).

With that said, the show still had it's moments during those final seasons.

Even though I love all these shows, I would say:

Family Matters
The Beverly Hillbillies
The Andy Griffith Show
Green Acres (it was pretty much a cartoon from episode 1 but in a wonderful way!)
Boy Meets World (Eric! Eric! Eric!)
Married with Children
Reba
Roseanne
Happy Days
Laverne & Shirley
The Nanny

Once again, I love all these shows but I feel they took a turn into "cartoon land" in their last few seasons.

Naw Family Matters stayed somewhat realistic until season 3 thats when urkel started making useless inventions like Robo-nerd.

Sanford & Son started to turn into a real life cartoon by season 6 for example the episode where fred tells roger a false story about him being in the war.

Boy Meets World started in season 5 where cory is acting more goofy then he was in seasons 1-4, not only that but eric turned into a cartoon character by season 7 and he gained weight.

Two and a half men...I know that this current season 11 has not been announced as a final season but it might as well be.

Martin seemed more unrealistic than ever by season 5 Tisha Campbell quit the show because Martin Lawrence had the mind of a 13 year old lol.

I don't know. In any case, I love cartoons! So I don't have a problem with that phenomenon. Most of these shows listed, I love all the way through. (Except for the few that I don't care about to begin with.)

The Big Bang Theory is becoming nothing more than a cartoon.

The Big Bang Theory is becoming nothing more than a cartoon.

That's because the show has been on the air for acouple years now the producers are running out of storyline plots it gets boring seeing 4 guys act crazy for nearly a decade lol

So many sitcoms have done this but my personal opinion is as follows:
Roseanne
Will and Grace
Ellen
Married With Children
Spin City
3rd Rock From the Sun
