"Grey’s Anatomy" doc Chandra Wilson will find herself on the other end of the stethoscope when she checks into the daytime ABC drama General Hospital.

“I’ve watched GH for 35 years,” Wilson tells our very good friends at Soaps In Depth, which broke the news. “I grew up with it. It holds such a place in my heart.”

Appearing in the Jan. 28 episode, Wilson’s GH character is described as being Bailey-like, and is a patient of Kevin’s.

Chandra Wilson Pays Brief Doctor Call on ABC’s "General Hospital"

Chandra Wilson is switching hospitals for an afternoon: The "Grey’s Anatomy" star and soap opera fan is paying a guest visit to "General Hospital".

Wilson is shooting her GH appearance today, according to TV Insider, and will play a marriage and family therapist named Dr. Linda Massey. The character will offer counseling to Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson), Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and Curtis (Donnell Turner).

The ABC daytime show shoots on the same lot as the network’s "Grey’s Anatomy". No airdate was announced for the guest appearance but keep an eye on Port Charles over the new few weeks.

Wilson has checked into GH before: In 2014 she did a one-off as “Tina Estrada,” a patient of Jon Lindstrom’s Dr. Kevin Collins.

Chandra Wilson is headed back to "General Hospital" — but not as one of the characters she previously played on the ABC daytime soap.

The "Grey’s Anatomy" star will portray Sydney Val Jean, a fashion editor at Crimson magazine who will appear alongside editor-in-chief Nina Clay-Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) on the Nurses Ball red carpet, People reports.

Wilson’s return is slated to air on Friday, May 17.

ABC’s "General Hospital" has paged "Grey’s Anatomy" star Chandra Willson to put in another guest-starring appearance — at the first Nurses Ball in more than two years.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Willson will reprise her role as WXPC fashion editor Sydney Val Jean at the upcoming Nurses Ball. This marks Wilson’s fourth appearance on GH, and her second as Sydney.
